The Los Angeles Chargers added another veteran in free-agent tight end Tyler Conklin after agreeing to terms on a deal, the team announced Friday. Conklin’s agent Mike McCarthy said the deal will be for one year.

Tyler Conklin, considered one of the better tight ends available in free agency, agrees to a one-year deal with the Chargers.

The 29-year old tight end has had 50 receptions or more in each of the past four seasons, including 51 last season with the New York Jets
