England’s rugby team has ended its five-match losing streak in fine style by running in nine tries to beat Eddie Jones’ Japan 59-14.

TWICKENHAM — Captain Jamie George said England had “got their house in order” after recording their first win at Twickenham in eight months with a 59-14 thrashing of Japan. After defeats to New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, Steve Borthwick snapped a five-game losing streak with a nine-try victory.

Eddie Jones, the former England coach, claims he faced an unpleasant encounter with a fan during Japan's heavy defeat to England at Twickenham but he brushed off Danny Care's critical remarks about his management style with a laugh.
