It was a good week for Illinois basketball in the state of Indiana. Illini men’s basketball beat Indiana by 25 on Tuesday. On Thursday, Illinois women’s basketball beat the Hoosiers 68-54. Kendall Bostic led the Illini with 21 points.

The Drake women's basketball team beat Illinois State 85-64 on Sunday in Normal, Ill. Drake (11-5, 5-0 Missouri Valley Conference) was led by Katie Dinnebier's 18 points. Courtney Becker had 12 rebounds. Anna Miller added 13 points for the Bulldogs. Shannon Dowell scored 14 points to lead Illinois State (9-7, 3-2).

The Drake women's basketball team continued their hot streak, reaching nine-straight wins following their dismantling of Illinois State on Sunday, 85-64. The squad also continues its unbeaten streak in the Midwest Valley Conference,
