Sixers say Joel Embiid is out 7-10 more days due to increased swelling in left knee
Embiid has only played in 13 of the Sixers' 39 games this season. He missed the first nine games of the year due to left knee injury management and a suspension, played in four out of five games and then missed the next seven contests as swelling reappeared in the knee which he had surgically repaired last February.

Embiid, the 2022-23 NBA MVP, has played in just 13 games this season, missing time with knee, foot and sinus injuries. He was sidelined for Philadelphia’s first nine games, sat out seven consecutive games in late November and early December and has been sidelined for the past six games.
As the trade deadline approaches, the 76ers will have to decide whether they want to tank down the stretch of the season.
