In a surprising twist in the NFL quarterback landscape, a recent report suggests that the Pittsburgh Steelers may be eyeing Sam Darnold as a potential replacement, should their pursuits of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields not pan out.

Steelers president Art Rooney II is on record saying that his preference would be for Pittsburgh to re-sign either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields. At this point, the Steelers have not decided which quarterback to bring back for the 2025 season.
