Matt Popovits, who won $40,000 in the bonus round, credited his son for the success since the boy loved watching the show and wanted his dad to participate in it.

Only a fortunate few have won the $1 million-dollar top prize on TV's Wheel of Fortune. Since the stake was introduced in 2008, just four contestants have managed to win it, although 13 have had a shot. The most famous name to take home the big prize was Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in 2021.
