Amazon says it will spend $20 billion on two data center complexes in Pennsylvania, including one it is building alongside a nuclear power plant that has drawn federal scrutiny.

Amazon plans to invest at least $20 billion in the construction of multiple data center complexes in Pennsylvania, marking what officials called the largest private sector investment in the state’s history.

Funds will initially go to the construction and operation of two campuses in Luzerne and Bucks counties, according to Gov. Josh Shapiro.
