Chinmoy Krishna Das, spokesperson for the Bangladesh Sommilito Sanatan Jagaran Jot coalition, faces sedition charges for allegedly disrespecting the national flag during a rally.

BJP leaders, spearheaded by Suvendu Adhikari, protested outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Kolkata over the arrest of ISKCON priest Chinmoy Krishna Das. They demanded his release, alleging religious persecution in Bangladesh.

Isckon Bangladesh demanded that the Bangladesh government identify and hold accountable those responsible for the attacks on the Sanatani community.
