A building area of high pressure will settle in for the middle of the work week, keeping the forecast calm but warm and humid. The latest data points to the beaches reaching near 90 degrees by the middle of the week. Inland areas will climb into the low-mid 90s with plenty of sunshine.

Wednesday will still bring rain chances, but it will be calmer compared to the earlier days of the week, with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s. Thursday is forecast to have the highest chances for rain and storms as a cold front moves through the region. This will cause temperatures to drop to the upper 70s and low 80s.

Heading into the middle of the week, high pressure may begin to strengthen just enough where daily rain chances will go down a notch. A few showers and storms are still expected each day, but coverage of rain may become less widespread for the middle and end of the week.
