On Thursday, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne gave an update on when the decision will be made. According to the NBA insider, major decisions related to Antetokounmpo's future in Milwaukee might stall until later into the offseason.

For now, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to stay together for another run. At the same time, the idea of the Bucks and their biggest star running it back still seems slightly up in the air.

However, prior to that, the Bucks had an interest in trading for another star in the form of Jimmy Butler. That deal would’ve involved Middleton, but according to former Bucks fan favorite John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo shut down those trade talks.
