It looks like Juan Soto is already proving he’s worth every penny, launching a home run during a recent spring training game against the Houston Astros. Juan Soto is the most valuable player on the New York Mets’ roster—at least when it comes to salary—and he recently gave a glimpse of what his future with the team could look like.

Soto homered in his first spring training at-bat for the New York Mets, hitting a solo shot to left-center field in the first inning against Houston on Saturday. The Mets went on to win 6-2.

After the New York Mets signed Juan Soto to the largest contract in MLB history, he made another deal with 25-year-old infielder Brett Baty.
