U.S. Olympic gold medal wrestler Kyle Snyder was arrested in a police sting operation in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday.

Snyder paid an undercover officer cash to solicit a sex act and was arrested on the scene.

"I want to thank everyone who has reached out with kindness and support," Snyder wrote on his social media pages Wednesday.
