5 charged after barricade situation in Norfolk
Detectives charged: George T. Sheriff, 28; Jesus A. Potestas, 26; Joseph C. Umidi, 24; Celia M. Buonomo, 27; and Lindsey B. Eddington, 29. All reside in Norfolk. Sheriff was also charged with maintaining a common nuisance. All five are being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.

NORFOLK, Va. — Members of the Norfolk Police Department were on the scene of a barricade situation Sunday morning. NPD says a call came in shortly before 4:30 a.m. about trouble in the 3100 block of Grandy Avenue. It’s unclear who was being barricaded, but police now say that they took seven people into custody without incident.
