Ricardo Pepi said his stoppage time winner against Shakhtar Donetsk was the most important goal of his career after he and USMNT team-mate Malik Tillman played instrumental roles in PSV’s “crazy” 3-2 comeback victory in the Champions League.

PSV Eindhoven was giving thanks to its United States internationals in the Champions League on Wednesday. Trailing 2-0 in the 87th minute at home to Shakhtar Donetsk, there seemed no way back for the Dutch team in red and white striped jerseys until its American stars stepped up.

PSV Eindhoven scored three goals after the 86th minute to recover from 2-0 down and beat Shakhtar Donetsk 3-2 in the Champions League.
