BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2024 Football Postseason All-SWAC selections on Tuesday morning. The all-conference teams were voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.

SWAC West champion Southern will visit SWAC East champion Jackson State with a conference title and a Celebration Bowl berth on the line.

Jackson State football head coach T.C. Taylor has been named SWAC Coach of the Year. RB Irv Mulligan has been named SWAC Offensive Player of the Year RB Travis Terrell JR. has been named SWAC Freshman

Jackson State is still the favorite to win the SWAC, with a perfect conference record, the SWAC Coach of the Year, T.C. Taylor, the SWAC Offensive Player of the Year, Irv Mulligan and multiple other players earning All-SWAC first and second-team honors.

After Grambling, Jackson State is the team Southern fans most want to beat. The same goes for the Tigers when they are done with Alcorn State.
