The Supreme Court will consider restrictions on puberty blockers, hormone therapy and gender transition surgery for minors for the first time Wednesday.

The Supreme Court is hearing arguments Wednesday in just its second major transgender rights case, which is a challenge to a Tennessee law that bans gender-affirming care for minors.

There's simply not enough long-term data to know whether using puberty blockers and other drugs are safe or even cause harm.
