The Liberty received their 2024 WNBA Championship rings during a banner-raising ceremony ahead of their 2025 season opener against the Las Vegas Aces at 1 p.m. ET Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn,
According to Ben Pickman of The Athletic, the Liberty are valued at $450 million after raising capital from a group of investors, which "is believed to be a record across professional women’s sports and is more than double that of the last publicly known capital raise made by a WNBA franchise."
The New York Liberty will head to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Saturday. The Liberty have hit the ground running after winning the first two games.
