Dans Locmelis set the Minutemen (19-12-5, 10-9-5 HEA) up for a two-goal lead, scoring the first goal of the night and adding an assist on the second.

The No. 16 UMass hockey team let a two-goal third-period lead slip away in its 2-2 tie against No. 5 Maine on Saturday night at the Mullins Center.
The Minutemen scored two goals within the first ten minutes of the game, adding another late in the first and one early in the second. Maine did not score until late in the 3rd period. That loss awards Boston College the regular season Hockey East crown. Maine will finish the regular season tomorrow night at UMass. Puck drop is slated for 7:30 P.M.
