The San Antonio Police Department is looking for a missing 85-year-old woman with a diagnosed cognitive impairment who was last seen Tuesday morning. A silver alert was issued by Texas DPS Wednesday.

A Silver Alert was activated for Patty Jean Cox who was last seen leaving her house on the west side of Bella Vista at around 2 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to the Bella Vista Police Department. Police said Patty was supposed to be heading to a store to go grocery shopping.

She was last known to be driving around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 59 in a brown Buick Encore with Arkansas license plate 057-TLZ.

Patty Jean Cox was last seen leaving her house on the west side of Bella Vista to go grocery shopping at around 2 p.m., police said.
