OLATHE, Kan. — On June 27, Walmart celebrated the grand opening of its first-ever owned and operated case-ready beef facility in Olathe, Kansas, according to its website.

Once the facility is opened, Walmart said it will package and distribute a choice of Angus cuts from Sustainable Beef LLC in North Platte, Neb., to serve customers across the region.
