Smoke from the more than 700 wildfires burning in Canada is continuing to blanket parts of the Midwest for a final day.

Smoky sunshine will continue to stream into West Michigan to finish the weekend as an Air Quality Advisory remains in effect.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires hovered over several Midwestern states Saturday, bringing warnings of unhealthy air for at least the third day.

Dr. Dorothy Curran says fine particles in wildfire smoke especially affect sensitive groups, like kids with asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
