SHREVEPORT, La. - Roads across the country could experience heat buckling as summer temperatures rise. Heat buckling, or blow-ups, are becoming more common as roadways age.

Emergency lane/ramp closures will occur on I-49 near Bert Kouns in Caddo Parish due to concrete repairs prompted by heat-induced pavement issues, affecting traffic next week.
