The Celtics announced Tuesday that Jayson Tatum suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his right foot on Monday against the Knicks.
There is not word as of yet exactly what the injury is, but based on the fact that it was non-contact, and Tatum was wheeled to the locker room holding the back of his ankle, there is a belief that it is something to do with his Achilles tendon.
