Screenwriter Richard Curtis jokes about "Love Actually" overstaying its welcome and the new Christmas movie, "That Christmas," on Netflix Wednesday, he wrote as an alternative.

That Christmas has been set in the fictional resort of Wellington-on-Sea, inspired by the Suffolk towns of Walberswick and Southwold with "a dab of Halesworth". Writer Richard Curtis, who lives on the east coast, said he had adapted the script from a trio of children's books to create a "Love Actually for kids".

Curtis leaned on the "bit of wisdom" he learned from directing the iconic 2003 anthology film when assembling his ensemble animated debut.
