Max Verstappen had a disappointing start to the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, finishing eighth in qualifying. The four-time world champion was clearly frustrated with the Red Bull setup in Budapest as the team clearly struggled to get anywhere near pole position.

Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda finished eighth and 16th respectively in what was the toughest qualifying so far for Red Bull.

Verstappen is under contract at Red Bull until 2028, but his future was under scrutiny in recent months amid continued links to Mercedes
