Iran is boasting that it has hypersonic missiles and says it already has begun firing the cutting-edge weapons at Israel.

The Israeli military said it struck eight Iranian attack helicopters at a military base and 40 missile-infrastructure components in western Iran. It said its air force also hit a missile launcher overnight and continued to fly over Iran in search of more targets.

Iran’s missile and drone attacks on Israel appear to be subsiding, prompting Israeli authorities to relax some safety restrictions.
