In Superman & Lois, Gordon Godfrey hosts a talk show in Metropolis, and his position as a news persona without a strong connection to the Kents makes him the ideal person for Lex to interview as he tries to discredit them.

It’s unclear if this iteration of Godfrey has such ties, though he still proves to be antagonistic towards Lois Lane when moderating a debate between her and Lex Luthor. The character is also just as snarky and arrogant as you’d imagine.

Tom Cavanagh is no stranger to the Arrowverse shows and before joining the ensemble cast of The CW show, he was essaying multiple portrayals of Harrison Wells and also contributed to Eobard Thawne of the Reverse-Flash in almost one hundred and fifty episodes of The Flash.
