A week after Boeing machinists ended an almost two-month strike, the aerospace manufacturer said Tuesday that October saw it deliver the smallest number of planes in years.

Striking workers at Boeing approved a new contract proposal on Monday, ending a more than seven-week stoppage that had cost the beleaguered aviation giant billions.

Boeing said on Tuesday it delivered 14 commercial jets in October, less than half of the 34 jets it handed over to customers during the same month in 2023, after a weeks-long strike halted most of its aircraft production.
