Blizzard III>Thunder III (Swiftcast)>Fire III>Fire I (Firestarter Procs between) At ~500 mp I cast Blizzard III to start my MP regen. Depending on the amount I will either use Scathe, or immediately cast Thunder II.

Jan 9, 2017 · Black Mage is a high nuke burst DPS style. The weakest spell in his spam rotation is 324 Potency and can go up to 504. It can even go up to 600+ per spell with buffs. In exchange of this huge power house spam nuke, the Black Mage has to deal with long casts and complete them or lose a lot of DPS.

According to what I'm reading, the quest should become available in the Thaumaturge guild after completing the level 30 class quest.

Square Enix designed black mage to not have utility and bring only damage, that is the flair of the class at least thats the reason square enix want people to pick black mage over other classes.

Oct 16, 2013 · Blackmage, Sleepnir are in the lodestone official database. I thought the sleepnir was from the Odin Fate. I have no idea if SE puts things in the database before they are patched into the game but the only thing I heard about the job spec barding was in concept sketches during live letter so they are on their way if not in the game now.

Jun 19, 2023 · Most of the classic attire of FF classes are in their 50 class (black mage, white mage, etc). There might be some FFV or VI armors somewhere (I think to remember some Cyan inspired stuff, but not sure at all). But yeah, I would love more FFIX outfits. I really would love to get dagger orange suit.

Oct 25, 2023 · Lots of people speculate it will be a green mage with a shaman identity to fit the new world and I agree with them. Blue Mage use the power of the monsters, Green Mage the power of nature, it would really fit the job identity and origins. "Shell" not only reminds of the spell but also of a turtle, of a wild animal.
