Oct 8, 2018 · We are using a SuperMicro SYS-2028GR-TRHT, which have enough slots for 6 GPU’s and currently running 4 K2’s per server without issue. The SYS-2028GR-TRHT GPU system is optimized for AI, deep learning, and/or HPC applications with support of the latest GPU interconnect technologies including NVIDIA® NVLink™.

For M10, then maximum that customer can install is 2 GPU cards only. 4x M10 would run out of resources.

In general, a system might be VMware certified without GPU or with GPU, it depends. In this case, VMware certified SYS-1029GQ-TRT with GPU Device Model: Nvidia Tesla P100-PCIE-16GB, and we've tested and certified with P100, and M10.
