So as you can see, it me 5 days to get back to RI from Yellowstone, which means that Cleveland to Yellowstone can be done in 4 days, which leaves him the option of taking in at least 1 attraction on the way, or adding 1 additional day for Yellowstone.

Right now I am looking at leaving the Detroit area and heading to South Dakota via HWY 90. We want to make stops in Badlands, Black Hills, and at Mt. Rushmore for sure. Then on into Yellowstone and the Tetons.

We spent the night at Baker City at the Geiser Grand Hotel. Geiser Grand: The Geiser Grand is a historic hotel and purported to be haunted.

Jan 20, 2008 · While in Yellowstone one of our childrens' favorite no cost activities was climbing in the massive rocks just outside of the Mammoth Village. While at Mammoth leave the park and go into Gardiner for a burger at Helen's. This old fashioned dive has the biggest and best burgers in the area. There is so much to do and see in Yellowstone.

Sep 27, 2002 · From Atlanta, GA to Yellowstone National Park it is 1925 miles one way. It will take you at least 3 or 4 days of driving between 500 and 650 miles per day just to get there. You didn't mention what time of the year you were thinking of going. It it's not during the winter have you considered buy a cheap tent and camping on the way there and back?

Apr 17, 2010 · You might consider that route, or cut off at Sheridan and take Rte 14, The Greybull Highway, all the way to Yellowstone. I-90 is kind of boring going up into Montana unless you want to visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield at Garryowen. Since you have three weeks, consider going south to the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole after Yellowstone.

Spend 3 days at Yellowstone, which is close to a minimum to see all of the park's main highlights, a day in Cody, and a day at the Grand Canyon, and your time would be completely filled.
