Australia’s Deadliest Spider?! The Sydney funnel web spider is widely understood to be one of the most venomous spiders on earth with a handful of recorded deaths attributed to them. They are heavy bodied Mygalomorphs related to tarantulas and trapdoor spiders that are restricted to the forests of eastern Australia.
