1st Military Working Dog Regiment held a Canine Half Marathon Relay at Chiron Lines. The day was a test of soldiers’ fitness, the dogs’ fitness as well as dog handling skills. The 1.1 mile route was completed three times by each participant. The teams consisted of four participants and a total of 13.1 miles was completed by each team. 🐕 7 dogs from the British Army 1st Military Working Dog Regiment, and their handlers, recently joined us at the National Space Centre for a training day. They practiced their skills in finding hidden explosive items and explored the different floor surfaces at the Centre. Military Working Dog teams from Fort Myer's 947th Military Police Detachment recently went through their annual certification course at Fort Belvoir, VA.
