Last night, our graveyard patrol officers were conducting proactive enforcement on E. 1st Street when they attempted to contact a known probationer. Upon seeing the officers, the individual fled, and a short foot pursuit ensued. The suspect, positively identified as John Hernandez of Laguna Niguel, was detained and found to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. He was subsequently booked at the Santa Ana Jail on narcotics-related charges and a probation violation. #WeAreSAPD #SantaAna
