I needed 4 traditional runners (not necessarily made for stairs... just a normal runner you would buy for your house).... with my curve there was a lot of waist so most stairs would only need 3. I love answering questions about this DIY stair runner, because that’s how I learned to install mine. I watched a video where someone was kind enough to explain the process, and got started. The rug is by @annieselke and I used 3 eight foot long runners to complete my stairs.
